Each year Tyndale takes time out to have a Thanksgiving Celebration. It is a great opportunity to take time to reflect on God's great love and goodness to our community. We come together as a family to share a bountiful meal together, to read psalms of thanksgiving, to sing songs of praise, and to worship in prayer, Nearly everyone has a role to play in things like cooking, cleaning, serving, or decorating. It is also a joy to experience the talent show that follows the meal. We appreciate each one who shares their gifts with us. There are around 120 people from over 20 nations who celebrate God's provision and blessings together. This year, we also honored Dory Hofstra upon her retirement. Dory has served the Tyndale community for over 15 years. Her love and joy in serving Jesus has been a source of encouragement for our community and she will truly be missed.
A heart of thanksgiving prepares us well for the beginning of Advent moving into the celebration of Jesus' birth - which truly is a great joy to all of us.
