2026 Preachers and Leaders Conference

Biblical Counseling & the Noble Labor of Pastoral Care

We warmly invite you to attend this year’s Preachers and Leaders Conference on the 6th and the 7th of July. This year’s theme is Biblical Counseling & the Noble Labor of Pastoral Care with keynote speakers Drs. Jeremy Pierre and Deepak Reju. Jeremy and Deepak co-authored The Pastor and Counseling.

At this year’s conference we are also offering Breakout Sessions.

Preachers and Leaders Conferences

Tyndale Theological Seminary coordinates and helps sponsor an annual conference here in the Netherlands. Together with our partners (Geloofstoerusting, TGC Nederlands/Vlaanderen, DesiringGod & 9Marks) we are seeking to bring Christian leaders together to further equip the saints and to encourage networking among fellow believers.

These conferences are intended to further assist and encourage preachers, leaders, and all who are interested. It is a Christ-centered, gospel-centered event; focused primarily on gospel clarity, culminating in the centrality of the gospel to everything in life and ministry.

Resources: Past P & L Conferences

As part of our heart for building up Christians in faith, please find all the past conference resources below!

2019 | Gospel Centrality: Message & Community

This was our first ever Preachers and Leaders Conference! This two-day conference was brought to you by Simeon Trust and 9Marks Ministries (hosted by Tyndale Theological Seminary), focusing on the centrality of the gospel and its proclamation for the formation and transformation of the Church. The aim is to think deeply, and yet practically, about the nature and purpose of the church, and the gospel we proclaim.

Speakers included David Helm and Matthias Lohmann. Click here to see all the conference talks!

2022 | Biblical Theology: The Bible’s Story

This two-day conference aims to equip the preacher and leader to see the storyline of the Bible, beginning in creation and climaxing in the person and work of Jesus Christ. Grasping the parts (i.e., discrete passages within books of the Bible as well as whole books of the Bible) in light of the whole Canon of Scripture as well as the whole in light of the turning points of redemption together with the contributions of each of the books of Holy Scripture strengthens our confidence in God’s Word and deeply encourages us for the hard work of preaching and teaching God’s Word.

Speakers included James Hamilton and Derek Bass. Click here to see all conference talks!

2023 | Doxology: The Goal of Knowing God

This two-day conference helps to us taste and see the doxological goal of our salvation in Christ, how thinking biblically and theologically (i.e., Christologically) culminates, by necessity, in a life of praise (I.e., doxology). While it is true, in one sense, that all of life should be worship for the Christian, this conference aims to help the Christian—preachers and leaders in particular—cultivate a life of praise (doxology). Rejoicing rightly in our great Triune God in any and all circumstances flows from rightly knowing God through His Son, by the Spirit, as revealed in His Holy Word.

Speakers included Matt Boswell and Henk van den Belt. Click here to see the whole conference playlist!

2024 | Timeless Truth for a Strange New World

The aim of this conference is to help Christians think through our current culture in the light of the Holy Scriptures. We will do this first by considering how our current culture & view of man and society is the product of a development in thinking over the last few centuries. Then we will show how the counter-cultural nature of Scripture helps us shape our identity in relation to our Creator, to His honour and our well-being.

Speakers included Carl Trueman and Henk van den Belt. Click here to see the whole conference playlist!

2025 | The Authority of Scripture

In every age, there are attacks on the truth of the Bible. These often cause believers to doubt the authoritative role of the Scriptural message in our lives, the church, and the world. This two-day conference aimed to encourage Christian leaders toward greater confidence in the reliability and authority of God’s Word so that we might love it, be nourished by its life-giving power, and proclaim it faithfully for the health of our churches.

Speakers included John Meade and Peter Gurry. Click here to see the entire conference playlist!
