Admissions Coordinator / Administrative Assistant
The Admissions Coordinator / Administrative Assistant will work primarily with the Vice President of Operations and Administration and the Director of Admissions to develop, implement, and maintain a plan for student admissions. This person will also oversee that the goals of the admissions process are met for each potential student in a timely manner. General administrative tasks and activities unrelated to admissions will also be assigned. This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities
Work with the Director of Admissions and others to form a team to review, develop and implement a plan for student admissions (Admissions Policy SP-07-06) for Tyndale.
Provide general coordination and oversight for the admissions area, including, but not limited to:
(1) responding to admissions and financial aid inquiries
(2) conducting interviews and coordinating visits of prospective students
(3) forwarding admissions information material or packets to applicants
(4) compiling and reviewing applicants’ admissions’ files for completeness
(5) circulating completed applicant’s admissions files to the Admissions Committee
(6) coordinating and attending meetings of the Admissions Committee
(7) maintain admission’s statistics and prepare reports for the board of directors
Assist, as needed, the Alumni Coordinator to engage alumni and other Tyndale Ambassadors to promote and discuss Tyndale with prospective students
Advise on matters related to student recruitment, such as recruitment letters to alumni, individuals, families, churches, schools, parachurch organizations and sponsors
Assist in various administrative tasks unrelated to admissions as assigned by the Vice President of Operations and Administration
Assist in various administrative tasks that may be assigned by the Vice President of Academic Affairs
Other Duties
Travel as needed to conduct recruitment activities for the school, initially focusing on Europe

Qualifications
Minimum educational requirement: Bachelor’s degree
Administrative experience in church, parachurch, NGO or educational setting
