Dory graduated from HBO with her degree in Teaching. Dory began her career as a kindergarten teacher and eventually became principal of a school. She married Jaap and was blessed to raise three children. She also taught as a substitute teacher and moved to work in the financial department of a travel agency for almost 20 years until she officially retired. God led her to Tyndale where she has served since 2010. She and Jaap live in Hoofddorp.
