Dr. Brotzman received his PhD from New York University, USA. He spent twenty years at Tyndale. He was Senior Professor of Old Testament Language and Literature, and Chair, Department of Biblical and Exegetical Studies. He is passionate about helping believers of all ages more fully understand the Old Testament scriptures. His areas of interest are the Pentateuch, the prophets, and Old Testament Textual Criticism. During his time at Tyndale, he published a textbook that has been widely used, Old Testament Criticism: A Practical Introduction. He and Ruth, his wife of more than forty years, live in Houghton, NY. They have two married children and seven grandchildren who live close by in western New York state. They are members of the Houghton Wesleyan Church and are involved in leading a small group at the church.
