Personal
Mario is from the area of Giessen, Germany. He and his family came to Tyndale from Deerfield, IL, where he pursued a doctorate in Old Testament at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. Mario has a passion for teaching theology in an intercultural context. Having lived in four different countries (Germany, Israel, USA, and the Netherlands), he feels the need to think christianly in the context of global challenges and opportunities for the kingdom of God. Mario is also an ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA). He lives with his wife, Elsbeth, and their two kids, Natalie, Jakob, and Josua in Alkmaar.
