Certificate of Theological Studies
The program for the CTS is equivalent to one year of full-time studies, but it can be done part-time, as well. This certificate program offers a good balance of introductory courses in Bible and Theology, along with ministry and intercultural courses.
The ideal student for the CTS is one who has a bachelor’s degree, and who desires an introductory theological education for personal or ministry reasons. This certificate program is limited to students who are in the EU, or have a valid residence permit for the Netherlands. No scholarships are offered for this program.
This certificate program does not require courses in the biblical languages, nor does it require a thesis.
It is equivalent to one full-time year of study, comprising 60 credits (ECTS), but can be completed on a part-time schedule. The Curriculum is similar to that of the first-year MDiv student, although the biblical languages are not required.
