1.) What do you do at Tyndale?
I am the facilities specialist. I am a handyman who does all kinds of building, maintainance and renovating work at Tyndale.
2.) What did you do before Tyndale?
Before coming to Tyndale I did the same sort of work in Estonia. I did renovation work for a Christian second-hand store. I also worked for a factory that built modular homes.
3.) What do you do besides serving at Tyndale?
I serve the Ukrainian Messianic Jewish congregation here in the Netherlands. I host a mid-week home group for Ukrainian refugees. I raise bees. (It has been rumored that Tarmo makes the best pancakes!)
4.) Why did you want to come and serve at Tyndale?
I came to Tyndale because Gunnar invited me. We are old friends who served together in a church in Estonia. I came because I was interested in working outside of Estonia for a time. I find it interesting and I wanted a new challenge.
5.) What have you enjoyed most during your time serving at Tyndale?
It’s definitely the people. The company is great. I enjoy the fellowship and companionship. I like getting to know the faculty, staff, and students. It’s a wonderful community with new people, new friends, and new experiences.
6.) What are your future plans?
I would like to be here with President Gunnar serving God’s kingdom together for as long as the Lord allows.
When I wake up in the morning I think, “What is God doing today? What is in his plan today?” And I find this encouraging and it inspires me to continue serving.
