On Friday, September 6 six students along with President Gunnar and Jill Mägi, and Ken and Julie Moser headed out for a weekend exploring Luxembourg. We stayed in Belgium and then drove to Luxembourg City. We spent a few hours wandering around this rich and historical European capital. We explored the city’s old town (a UNESCO World Heritage site) and admired the many scenic views.Â
We then embarked on a long trip up the “Valley of the Seven Castles” where we went “castle hunting.” It was a fantastic afternoon with the highlight being the magnificent Vianden Castle in the picturesque village of Vianden. We finished with a tasty dinner of kebabs in Wiltz and then spent the night back in our cabins in Belgium. We were home on Sunday with time left to catch up on schoolwork.Â
It was a great trip and fun was had by all!
