God is at Work at Tyndale!

August 2024

The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy.

Psalm 126:3

We set out over a year ago to begin to meet the goals of our “Young Tyndale Initiative”. By the grace of God and the support of generous donors, progress is being made - Praise God!

Young Tyndale Initiative Goals that have been met:

  • We have begun renovations of Chatlos Hall by updating our entryways, repainting and re-carpeting our new library and chapel.

  • We have successfully moved the Vern & Elizabeth Nelson Library and our faculty members reviewed our collection to make it more research-focused. This library move has now opened our atrium to become our new chapel space. Worship and the proclaiming of God's word are now literally at the center of our school.

  • We have received a generous donation toward our Chatlos Hall roof repair, work can begin this September to replace rotted window frames and glass window panes located along the ceiling line of our atrium. This preceeds our roof-replacement project. Hallelujah!

  • We continue to address other maintenance needs that have been deferred while continuing to create a more modern learning environment through our Stewardship Capital Campaign.

  • Thanks to our amazing Web Manager volunteer, Sander Goorden, we have modernized our brand identity with a new look and a new website. Updates and content are continuing to be edited and adapted on our new website.

  • We are growing our team. We have filled the role for a new  Financial/Administrative Assistant and we simply await their arrival as they are currently raising support. We also have welcomed three new volunteers to assist in our marketing and IT strategies.

  • We have other job openings available at Tyndale that are not yet filled. Discover the various job opportunities Tyndale has to offer. Pray about how you or someone you know could serve with us as a missionary: working at Tyndale Theological Seminary, taking the gospel to the nations.

Let’s not forget, in the midst of all of these projects, our faculty and staff have remained faithful in their tasks to keep our school running and to fulfill our calling to 2 Timothy 2:2 “what you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses entrust to faithful men, who will be able to teach others also.”

My heart is singing as I see the progress unfolding.  Thanks to all who have believed, advised, and given. To God be the glory! But let us not stop here.  We are on the lookout for those who would like to partner with us in this glorious work.
