Tyndale’s Summer Reading Seminar: Engaging Secularism

July 2024

Preachers and Leaders 2024 | Tyndale Summer Reading Seminar: "Engaging Secularism" with Dr. David Sandifer and Robert Landon

In connection to our annual Preachers and Leaders Conferences, Tyndale makes available a summer modular course. This course is open to anyone in the Christian community to further explore the main theme from that particular year's conference.

Building on the "Timeless Truth for a Strange New World" conference — and especially from Carl Trueman’s lectures — this course sought to go deeper into understanding contemporary Western secularism with the goal of being equipped to engage it and respond to it as Christians.  The class was taken through portions of guided reading and discussion through key thinkers such as Charles Taylor, Philip Reiff and Augusto de Noce. It was a wonderful opportunity to dive deeper into the thought provoking ideas that were introduced during the Preachers & Leaders Conference.
