Carina worked with a catering service before joining Tyndale in 2014 as our cook. She lives in Almere.

Joy Buswell
Admissions Coordinator
Joy Buswell moved from Ireland to the Netherlands in 1978. She has two adult daughters and lives in Badhoevedorp. She has worked as a marketing consultant and a social counselor for refugees. She has been a volunteer at Tyndale since 2014.

Daniel Chan
IT Volunteer
Daniel studied “Bedrijfspresentatie” at the Hogeschool InHolland in the Netherlands. Before serving at Tyndale, he worked as a professional web designer and interaction designer in the internet industry for more than 14 years. Daniel graduated from Tyndale in 2015. He and his wife, Nikki, live in Amsterdam.

Logan Copley
Librarian
Logan is a PhD student in Old Testament at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. He has an MA in Biblical Languages from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and a BA in History from Columbus State University. He came to Tyndale in 2021. He and his wife, Molly, live in Badhoevedorp with their two daughters.

Janice Dahl
Executive Assistant & Director of Finance
Janice received her BA in Sociology from Cornerstone University. She has worked in the field of student personnel and a variety of material and production control jobs. In 2000, she moved to Romania with her husband, Jim, and their twin daughters. She worked with various Romanian church planters to offer English to children as an outreach ministry. She came to Tyndale in 2012. Janice and Jim live in Badhoevedorp.

John Demmendaal
Facilities Manager, Government Liaison
John has an MBO degree in Dairy Agriculture and graduate certificate in Bible from Multnomah Seminary. God led he and his wife, Wendi into full-time ministry in Romania. Their ministry consisted of developing children and youth ministries and training nationals. After eight years in Romania, they returned to the U.S. where John continued teaching courses at a missionary training school. After 15 years in the U.S., they were ready to return to ministry overseas. This brought them to Tyndale in 2018. They have two adult sons, living in the U.S. John’s family continues to live in The Netherlands. John and Wendi live in Badhoevedorp.

Wendi Demmendaal
Alumni and Student Recruitment Coordinator, PAE Instructor
Wendi has a BA from Seattle Pacific University. She came to The Netherlands in 1984 to serve with Eastern European Bible Mission where she met her Dutch husband, John. They served in Romania as missionaries developing children’s ministries. After eight years in Romania, they returned to the U.S. to continue training missionaries for overseas ministries. Nearly 15 years later, they find themselves back in The Netherlands working with Tyndale. John and Wendi have two adult sons still living in the U.S. They live in Badhoevedorp.

Rachel Dority
Registrar, Director of PAE, Associate Faculty
Rachel received her BS in Education and TESOL Certificate at the University of Nebraska. Before becoming a missionary, she served as a teacher and coach at Woodbury Central Schools in Iowa. She also served as a staff representative with The Navigators in Russia for several years. She has served at Tyndale since 2003. Rachel lives in Badhoevedorp.

Ad de Visser
Volunteer - Finance
Ad works as financial controller for Volvo Bangarage in Amstelveen. Prior to this role, he worked 20 years as a financial controller for an aircraft leasing company. He oversaw both internal and external reporting, evaluating investment proposals and assessing business plans. Ad and his wife Joke live in Lisse, Netherlands and attend church at Meerkerk in Hoofddorp. They have three adult children.

Dory Hofstra
Bursar
Dory graduated from a HBO with her degree in Teaching. Dory began her career as a kindergarten teacher and eventually became principal of a school. She married Jaap and was blessed to raise three children. She also taught as a substitute teacher and moved to work in the financial department of a travel agency for almost 20 years until she officially retired. God led her to Tyndale where she has served since 2010. She and Jaap live in Hoofddorp.

Bob Landon
Director of International Church Ministries
Bob graduated from Tyndale with a Master of Divinity degree. He completed a ThM at Evangelische Theologische Faculteit in Leuven, Belgium. He is also an associate faculty member. He and his wife Annet live in Delft.

Cees Maarsen
Volunteer - Library
Cees worked for many years for the local government of Aalsmeer. In the last 3.5 years before he retired he worked for the local government of Amstelveen. Cees started as a volunteer at Tyndale in January 2017. He lives in Aalsmeer.

Lisa MacEwen
Volunteer - Mentor
Lisa has been a missionary since 1997. Her mission work has included university student and faculty ministry in East Asia, seminary teaching in Singapore, and ministry to international graduate students and professors in Northern Virginia. She has also participated in short-term missions to many locations in Asia and Europe. Lisa holds a BA from the University of South Carolina, an MS from the University of Southern California, an MA from Dallas Theological Seminary, and a DMiss from Biola University.
Lisa is a first-generation Korean American. Before becoming a missionary, she worked in various professions, including as a music teacher, a language teacher, and an Information Systems Manager for the US Department of Defense.
Together with her husband Rob, a faculty member, Lisa has been ministering at Tyndale since 2019.

Julie Moser
Volunteer - Mentor
Julie is an Australian and has spent the last 35 years involved in youth ministry in churches and para-church organizations in Australia and Canada. She is the author of several youth ministry resources and is currently serving as a mentor at Tyndale. She is a graduate of Sydney Missionary and Bible College and has a BTh. from Charles Sturt University. She is married to Ken, a faculty member since 2022.

Nenad Tunguz
Vice President of Operations and Administration, Director of Admissions
Nenad received his BA in English Language & Literature at Sarajevo University. He also received his M. Div. from Tyndale in 2001. He has served at Tyndale since 2008. Nenad, his wife Jennifer, and their two children live in Badhoevedorp.

Els van den Bovenkamp
Volunteer - Library
Els graduated from a HBO with her degree in Teaching. She worked for 40 years as a teacher in both South Africa and the Netherlands. She has been volunteering at Tyndale since 2018.

Gerrit van den Bovenkamp
Volunteer - Library
Gerrit graduated from a HBO in Electrical Engineering. Most of his time was spent in Aviation, both in South Africa and the Netherlands. Gerrit began volunteering at Tyndale in 2014.

Jan Anthonie Voorhoeve
Volunteer - Gardener
Jan and his wife, Beryl, live in Aalsmeer. He studied as a garden architect in Boskoop and ran his own business in garden design and maintenance for 50 years. He has been assisting Tyndale as our gardener since 2015.

Nelleke Yakubu
Volunteer - Hebrew Tutor
Nelleke lived in Ghana with her Ghanaian husband Rahman and their three daughters for 11 years and returned to the Netherlands in 2017. She holds an MA in Hebrew (Semitic Languages and Cultures) from Leiden University and an MTh in Old Testament from the Protestant Theological University (then in Kampen). She is currently helping to tutor a few Tyndale students who struggle with Hebrew. The rest of her time is spent working at the office of their mission agency (no name for security reasons) and looking after the girls.
