Hal Barge, MBA

Vice President and General Manager – Fairlead Systems
Hal and his wife Elizabeth live in Norfolk, Virginia (USA). They have two adult children, Emily and John. He served in the US Navy in the Submarine Force for almost 30 years before moving to work with Oceaneering International in Chesapeake, Virginia. Hal has served as elder, session member, and Sunday School teacher at the First Presbyterian Church in Norfolk. He and Elizabeth have had various leadership roles in Bible Study Fellowship for many years and now also teach in the area of personal financial management. He received his MBA from the Harvard Business School and his BA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Adrie van Belzen, DBA
General Manager, Jellice Pioneer Europe BV
Dr. van Belzen is living with his wife Antsje in the northern part of the Netherlands in Zevenhuizen. He served at several Christian ministries in the Netherlands, as deacon and elder in the churches attended. He has worked his career in industry at various management positions in manufacturing, engineering project management, and business development. His academic trainings are a DBA from Business School Netherlands in Buren (NL), a MBA from TSM Business School in Enschede (NL), a MSC from University of Bradford (UK), a BSC from MIR Flushing (NL), and he’s an alumnus of Tyndale and received a MA.

Branko Bjelajac, DSc
International Vice President for Africa, CAMENA and Europe, TransWorld Radio (TWR).
Dr. Bjelajac was a journalist for 15 years before coming to Tyndale as a student. Here he completed both his Master of Divinity and Master of Theology. He returned to Serbia to be a part of a Theological Faculty in Novi Sad. Since 2006 he has been at Trans World Radio in Europe. In 2012 he completed his Doctor of Philosophy degree at the Evangelical Theological Faculty in Croatia. Branko and his wife Nada live in Bratislava, Slovak Republic.

Edward M. Curtis, PhD
Professor Emeritus of Biblical and Theological Studies, “Talbot School of Theology” Biola University.
Dr. Curtis served as an Old Testament scholar whose research interests included Genesis, Job, and the Song of Solomon. He is the author of Transformed Thinking (JKO Publishers); Song of Songs, the Zondervan Bible Study Commentary; and Discovering the Way of Wisdom (Kregel, Fall 2004); Ecclesiastes and the Song of Songs (Baker, 2013) and Interpreting the Wisdom Books: An Exegetical Handbook(Kregel, 2017). Ed and his wife Joy live in Fullerton, California.

Mark Curtis
CEO, Splash Car Wash
Mark Curtis lives with his wife, Laurie, in Riverside, Connecticut. Together they have two grown children – Sam & Erin. Mark has served as a trustee and elder at their church, Stanwich Congregational in Greenwich. Mark also serves as a director of the Bridgeport Rescue Mission. He is CEO of Splash Car Wash – a chain of carwash operations in the Northeast.

Jonathan Dockery, JD
Vice President for Finance, Western University in Holland, MI
Before moving to Western, Jonathan served as the Vice President for Business Services at Trinity International University. He has a Juris Doctor from Northwestern University School of Law and a Master of Theological Studies from Samford University, Beeson Divinity School. Jon and his wife Sarah live in Holland, Michigan.

Steve Meador, MBA

Mr. Meador’s firm is based in Chicago and provides business advisory and incubation services. Steve has more than 30 years of technology management and technology strategy experience, with an extensive background in capital markets, insurance, and asset management. He has a Master in Business Administration from the University of Rochester. Steve and his wife Kathy live in Saratoga Springs, New York.

Bradford Mullen, PhD
Retired Seminary Professor of Theology (Columbia Biblical Seminary, Columbia, SC), and retired Executive/Teaching Pastor (Calvary Church, Lancaster, PA)
Dr. Mullen, a native of New York City, has split his 40-year formal ministry career nearly equally between seminary teaching and pastoral ministry. His postgraduate training includes an M.Div from Columbia Biblical Seminary, Columbia, SC, a Th.M from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, Deerfield, IL, and a Ph.D from Boston University, Boston, MA. Brad’s academic specialty is the history of Christian thought. In his full range of pastoral experience—preaching/teaching, administration, and leadership—Brad has sought to align ministry preparation with ministry practice. Brad and his wife, Noel, live in Chester Springs, PA.

A. Verner Nelson, BS
President, Nelson Publishing.
Mr. Nelson studied electronic engineering at Michigan State University and served in the U.S. Air Force. He worked at Ford Motor Co. before moving into the editorial field, where he worked on several magazines at Rogers Publishing. Eventually, he started a magazine of his own which resulted in his own publishing company. Vern lives in Osprey, Florida.

Jan Pranger
Retired Chief Operations Officer and Site Director CABB AG
Jan holds a Master Degree in Chemical Engineering and a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration. He has worked for 35 years plus in various companies in several management positions. He has served and is serving as an elder and has been member and chair of the board of a cluster of primary schools.
Jan and his wife Marriët have lived in the US (Chicago area) and Switzerland (Basel area) and currently live in Amersfoort, The Netherlands and have 5 adult children.

Cecil Stalnaker, PhD
Retired Senior Professor of Intercultural Studies and Practical Ministries, Tyndale Theological Seminary
Dr. Stalnaker taught at Tyndale from 1997-2012. He was also the Chair of the Department of Intercultural Studies and Practical Ministries. In this role, he designed and oversaw both the student internship program and the spiritual formation program. The spiritual formation program received recognition from the Dutch governmental accreditation agency for being outstanding. He is currently training missionaries for Greater Europe Mission. He and his wife, Kathy, live in Valencia, CA. They are both committed to helping the church understand its role in reaching the world with the Gospel of Christ.

Ad de Visser, BSC
Financial Controller, Volvo Bangarage
Ad works as financial controller for Volvo Bangarage in Amstelveen. Prior to this role, he worked 20 years as a financial controller for an aircraft leasing company. He oversaw both internal and external reporting, evaluating investment proposals and assessing business plans. Ad and his wife Joke live in Noordwijk, Netherlands and attend church at Meerkerk in Hoofddorp. They have three adult children.

Jim Vogler, JD
Partner, Barrack Ferrazzano
Jim and his wife Linda live in Newberg, Oregon (USA). They have two grown children. Jim has practiced law in Chicago for 40 years. He serves as a director and legal counsel for Rise International. Rise International is dedicated to building schools in rural Angola and providing primary education for children. Jim is also involved in the Illinois delegation for the annual National Prayer Breakfast. He received his B.A. from Harvard University and his Juris Doctor from Southern Illinois University.
