Estonia and Finland Ministry Trip Highlights: A Journey of Faith, Service, and Transformation

The team expressed deep gratitude for what they described as “a mighty work of God” taking place in the region. Despite the challenges faced by many, particularly the elderly and youth, the group found hope and transformation through local partnerships and ministry efforts.

One of the team’s key activities included distributing food to homeless individuals through the Salvation Army. Many of those served were elderly, a vulnerable population in Estonia who often receive limited care in retirement.

The team also participated in a youth service attended by just five young people. Though small in number, the gathering was significant. The youth shared how their lives are shaped by their geographic proximity to Russia, with the ongoing threat of conflict casting a shadow over daily life. The team also had the privilege to lead a Sunday morning service by sharing testimonies, leading worship, preaching and teaching with the children’s ministry during the trip.

In a more unconventional outreach, the team visited an expo centered around coffee culture, where they connected with a missionary running “The Good Coffee Company.” The initiative not only introduces people to quality coffee but also offers language lessons and Bible studies, using coffee as a bridge for relationship and spiritual growth.

A particularly moving part of the trip was a visit to the “Village of Hope,” a rehabilitation center. Team members were deeply impacted by stories of individuals whose lives have been radically changed through faith. “The gospel DOES work!” a team member remarked, reflecting on the profound transformations witnessed.

As the team returns home, they continue to pray for God’s continued work in Estonia and Finland—and for the seeds planted during their time there to flourish.
